This Independent Contractor Agreement for Student Transportation (“Agreement”) is made as of March 10, 2026, between the San José Unified School District ("District") and Safeguard, Inc. (“Contractor”). The District and Contractor may be individually referred to herein as a “Party” or collectively referred to herein as the “Parties.” 1. Services. Contractor shall furnish to the District student transportation services as more fully described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference (“Services” or “Work”). 2. Term. Contractor shall commence providing services under this Agreement on July 1, 2025 (“Effective Date”), and will diligently perform as required or requested by District as applicable. The term for these services shall expire on June 30, 2028.
